The two week Shopping Street challenge just ended in my class after a largely successful competition. I’m pretty excited about many of the unexpected outcomes that occurred as a result of this challenge.

The newest addition to Hooda Math.com is another Math Dress Up Game. This time the Math Dress Up game is including decimals and percents. Try it out for yourself. This game is quite difficult, so if you need to your students can play it in easy mode. In easy mode the player no longer has to worry about the percent off tags and focus on adding up the decimals. Hooda Math has created an invaluable tool for any math teachers classroom. Imagine if your students could go online take a multiplication timed test and the percent, time, and incorrect answers were all emailed directly to you, the teacher. Hooda Math finally added a section of its site dedicated to Math Worksheets that can be used with the games on Hooda Math. I recently tested out the Dress Up Addition Worksheet and even the boys wanted to fill one out. There is something magical about the computer that makes students want to do school work
